Prelude

Posthuman refers to a transformed humanity. The word "post-human" clear enough means after human. The post-human refers to a condition where humans will be fundamentally transformed, their capacities will be radically enhanced and transformation of humanity will also imply the transformation of the human condition. Some people advocate that we are already in the trans-human era (trans as in transitional). The posthuman condition holds many promises and perils. We might be able to partially merge with our machines in the not so distant future, genetically enhance physical and mental capacities of humans etc. These and similar developments will open up new questions like how will these developments transform our cultures, society and most interestingly religion.This blog is an attempt to academically document some of the developments associated with the theory and practices that might lead towards this change.
